UPDATE!  As of 9/3/2010, the UUC/Alcon brake kits are now available with the UUC T-Drive floating front rotors in our new 330mmx32mm size. What are T-Drive™ floating rotors? A true "floating" rotor design allows the disk portion to expand radially with heat, seperate from the cooler mounting hat.  This reduces stress-induced deformation of the disk due to differences in temperature between disk and hat.  The net result is more effective braking and longer lifespan of pad and rotor components. The UUC T-Drive™ technology provides the most accurate and durable method of isolating potential pad engagement harmonics and the in-service thermal variances that occur between the mounting hat and the rotor. This system places the "float" within the hat, and then allows the use of standard through-hole mount rotors. The ability to use through-hole mount rotors provides increased durability and improved accuracy. The square faced T-nuts provide a substantially wider load bearing surface as compared to the round pin and bobbin type mounts. The results are felt with truer running, smoother engagement, extended reliability, and consistent pedal feel after every lap.
