Well, I have had first hand experience with the E36 M3 Corsa/UUC exhaust system and it is really quite nice. Aside from the very nice manufacturing, the system is designed to maintain very reasonable sound levels at lower rpms, but can really open up and scream as the rpms increase on acceleration. The best part though, there is no unwanted noise/resonance or vibration. My Stromung has spots where it drones and vibrates in comparison and is really too loud at lower rpms and this is typical of many after-market systems. The Corsa/UUC system though is just a wonderfully throaty exhaust that flows amazingly well since Corsa's specialty is a "straight-through" system where the exhaust can is designed to eliminate unwanted noise and resonance (without the use of packing, it is all done through sound wave tuning for each specific application). The result, a reasonably quiet exhaust at lower rpms (not as quiet as stock but reasonable), a wonderful sound at higher rpms, no unwanted noise/harshness, amazing manufacturing/welds/fit/finish and maximum flow. > I had 95%+ settled on installing this system this summer, but now I am > second-guessing myself based on noise concerns. I would do the Corsa/UUC system. Corsa really is one of the best after-market exhaust manufacturers. Regards, Rich ------------------------------
