What are T-DriveT floating rotors?

A true "floating" rotor design allows the disk portion to expand radially with heat, seperate from the cooler mounting hat.  This reduces stress-induced deformation of the disk due to differences in temperature between disk and hat.  The net result is more effective braking and longer lifespan of pad and rotor components.

The UUC T-DriveT technology provides the most accurate and durable method of isolating potential pad engagement harmonics and the in-service thermal variances that occur between the mounting hat and the rotor. This system places the "float" within the hat, and then allows the use of standard through-hole mount rotors. The ability to use through-hole mount rotors provides increased durability and improved accuracy. The square faced T-nuts provide a substantially wider load bearing surface as compared to the round pin and bobbin type mounts. The results are felt with truer running, smoother engagement, extended reliability, and consistent pedal feel after every lap.

Four-wheel kit consists of:
4-piston FRONT kit with option of UUC T-DriveT 330mmX32mm floating rotors or 325mmX28mm 1-piece rotors.
4-piston REAR kit with 328mm 1-piece rotors.

Fits:

• Alcon aerospace alloy aluminum 4-piston calipers, staggered piston sizes. Color choices: red or matte gray.
• OPTION:  UUC T-DriveT floating rotors (330mmX32mm) or 1-piece rotors, 325mmX28mm.
• Hawk Performance Ceramic brake pads (street use). Race pad substitution available.
• Mil-spec heat treated stainless steel alloy radial mount brackets.
• DOT-compliant stainless steel braided/plastic covered brake lines. Matching rear lines included.
• Mounting hardware, all metric grade 12.9.
• OPTION: red or gray color (some custom colors available at additional cost).
